I love me some Lynn Baldwin-Rhoades. She is one of the smartest people I know, and she LOVES entrepreneurs and supporting them. She’s a teacher, mentor, dear friend, and a self-described community builder, champion of women and lover of dreaming–and achieving–crazy-big stuff. To learn more about Lynn, visit her website at www.powerchicksinternational.com. In this post, Lynn shares some terrific (and FREE) apps to help maintain sanity and sustainability in your business. We can all use more sustainability and sanity, yes? Enjoy!
Setting up smooth systems is, I swear, the key to keeping overwhelm at bay and increasing income. Otherwise, sanity and sustainability fritter away like dandelion fluff in the breeze!
Here are 3 apps I either personally use or that come highly recommended by other entrepreneurs:
TRELLO
Trello helps you organize projects or tasks by placing them on on of three boards: To do, Doing and Done. You can add notes, files, images and all manner of useful stuff to track the progress of your projects. I’m using it with my assistant to manage tasks we both work on: where it is, who has done what, etc. You can also use it solo or with an accountability partner.
JUMPCUT
Jumpcut – Tim Ferris of the Four-Hour-Workweek recommends Jumpcut: “Have you ever cut and pasted two or three things, and lost a hugely important thing that you cut first? Jumpcut, which is free, allows you to store (and easily retrieve) 40+ copied or cut things from your clipboard.” I’m IN.
COFFITIVITY
Coffitivity promises to increase productivity (and it does!) with background sounds to keep you focused. Choose the gentle hum of Morning Murmur, bustling chatter of Lunchtime Lounge, or the scholarly sounds of a campus café with University Undertones.
What apps help you or would you like to find? Share in the comments below.
With much warmth,
xoxo_Lynn
